Signalling the start of construction at Downtown, the McGoff Group’s new flagship residential development, James, Declan, Dave and Chris McGoff hosted a ground breaking ceremony at the Woden Street site earlier this week.

The event was attended by more than 30 guests, including representatives from Manchester law firm Fieldfisher, AFL Architects, LRW Architects, Alliance and Wellesley Finance, the development property finance specialist that is providing the McGoff Group with a £39.9m funding facility to deliver the landmark scheme.

With its waterside location on the banks of the River Irwell, Downtown is an impressive project with a superior design that will not only transform the landscape on the border of Manchester and Salford, but it will also revolutionise the property market with its Manhattan-inspired hotel-style services and high end communal facilities.
